MessagePoint is available in 3 editions:

MessagePoint Standard Edition: As a home user or individual you can use this tool to create your own screen saver or PowerPoint slide show with your text, pictures, animation and effects.
MessagePoint Professional Edition: As a business user you can display easy-to-create slide shows with dynamic content. You as a designer can modify the existing presentation and all connected clients will automatically download the new presentation in order to show the latest content and information.
MessagePoint Enterprise Edition: This screen saver solution is integrated with a DataPoint runtime client. So now your screen saver presentation can display live data from Excel and databases. This will only work for presentations created with DataPoint Enterprise Edition. The DataPoint data connection refresh rates are automatically set to 1 minute to avoid that you are running the screen saver functionality as a real public information monitor.
To set your MessagePoint properties click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Choose a screen saver. Then select MessagePoint from the available screen savers and click Properties to set your selected presentation and other MessagePoint options.

PlanPoint is a free Microsoft PowerPoint add-on that enables you to show or hide slides in a presentation at specified dates and times.

Open your normal Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and specify per slide when to display it. You can specify a period, a time frame and on which days of the week it should be displayed.

When running your slide show PlanPoint will display your slide automatically when the specific time has come. After the time specified this slide is set to hidden again and will no longer be shown.

ShowPoint is a free Microsoft PowerPoint add-on that enables you to start a selected presentation remotely.

Choose a common folder on your viewing computer. From any other computer in your network you can copy a presentation to that folder. ShowPoint will detect a new presentation and will open and run the slide show automatically until a new presentation is sent.

ShowPoint supports Microsoft PowerPoint versions 2000, 2002 and 2003.
